October 2011 was the third World Clydesdale Show and was held in Madison, WI. Currently, the World Clydesdale Show is held every four years. There were approximately 550 Clydesdale Horses that were exhibited over the four days of the show. The guests in attendance were from Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Germany, France, Canada and the U.S. It was a wonderful event filled with magnificent horses and, people with the singular love of the Clydesdale.
Our most sincere thanks to the Lowes family, Don, Kerry, Donna & Sarah, for fitting and showing our horses. Below are some of our memories of the three horses we took to Madison.
